A bit about myself: former (NUJ card holder) Journalist with CI Media Productions 1992 - 1993, as a Journalist & Production assistant, I worked on Tennent's Caledonian's free music magazine, Tennent's Live News, the audio version; as talking news paper for the blind. In 1995 I also worked for Tower Records in Glasgow during its 5th Anniversary year. In 2000 I became visually impaired due to retinal detachment in my right eye. I have been attending gigs & buying albums since 1980 (Rainbow Down To Earth being a prime example). Currently listening to Haken, Heal Morse Band & Thunder. Fav DJ, the one and only Mr Tom Russell. Fav Promoter all time, Robert Fields. If you want to know what I look like, scroll to the bottom and, I'm the one with the Apollo shirt on, the band are Yes; including one of my hero's Chris Squire far right. It was his last gig in Glasgow before his passing. I won the Prog Magazine 'Meet and Greet Competition' to be at that gig. I'm lucky I got to see Yes with him one last time before he left us! Like so many great Prog & Blues men now sadly departing, the inspiration for this site and my Facebook Glasgow Prog & Blues page, is dedicated to keep Prog & Blues alive and kicking in the pubs, clubs, theatres and arenas of Glasgow; in the '21st Century' and for decades to come.
